Third & last week in Port Lincoln

Started with exploring Coffin Bay & the national park on my own. That was fun. I also noticed that road signs here can be a bit scarce! Anna was out on the Tacoma and I had her car. Kate came round in the afternoon and helped me try to mosaic - see photo of new table top for Anna. Hope she can smile back at it!
We've been swimming in the pool along the getty. It's a cordoned off area in the sea with shark netting to keep it safe. The jelly fish do get in and they sting.
On Wednesday we walk up Standford Hill in PL national park. It's a 2 km vertical walk! View was great. Luckily it was very overcast because it was hot work.
We went driving through the sand dunes on Thursday with Kate's son. We had champagne to drink along the way! At one cliff I saw a shark swimming close to the shore. It was about 1.5 m long. Before we went to the dunes, we took photo's of Anna & I on the mosaic sofa by the church in PL. Kate's son works on a prawn boat and we had a mound of enormous prawns and salad for dinner after the dunes drive.
People here grow a lot of fruit, peaches, apricots, lemons, figs and plums. Every time Anna goes somewhere she comes back with more fruit. There were so many figs the other day she was making fig tarts, fig jam, drying figs in the oven. It was crazy.
Anyway last night Kate & Leoni (who drove up round the Gawler Range & the Organ Pipes) came round for a "leaving bbq". They are really nice people and its been great getting to know them.
Today, we will go for a last swim at the getty and I will finish packing before flying to Adelaide tomorrow morning. Temperatures are forecast to reach 40 in Adelaide, so I may spend a lot of time in museums etc. The Adelaide fringe is on, so there should be a lot to see & do. It will be strange saying goodbye to Anna after all this time. She has been a great hostess & and has made so many things possible.
