Drive from east coast to Launceston

Today we drove from St. Helens on the east coast via Binalong Bay (amazing long white beaches) over the mountains to Launceston. There is very little traffic on the roads but an awful lot of roadkill. The country side us very dry with grey skeleton trees standing on the hills. Wierd!
Then countryside changes & we arrived ar award winning dairy farm & what was left of a rain forest. Tasmania is very diverse.

Your trip sounds wonderful, and aside from your blog such wonderful photos. The open looked amazing, such a great experience. I have to say your hike in Tanzania made me smile you definitely earned the fish and chips. Your not missing anything in NL other than rain wind cold oh and yet more rain!
